Leicester house is a character full village property which was linked to a poorly covered study dating back to the early 1900’s.

After removing an old asbestos roof, the study and ancillary accommodation was sympathetically linked to the main house.

The old study now boasts exposed timber beams and vellux windows giving a light and spacious setting for gallery works.

The exterior has been timber clad to give a more contrasting but appealing feel to the rear of the property.

This was an unusual project with many complexities working over a public space with limited room.
